Visit from Professor Qiang Huang

On December 2, 2022, Professor Qiang Huang from the Epstein Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Southern California (USC) visited the Industrial AI Group.


Seminar: Engineering-Informed Machine Learning for Additive Manufacturing Accuracy Control


Professor Huang previously held the Gordon S. Marshall Early Career Chair in Engineering at USC (2012–2016). He currently serves as:


  • Department Editor for IISE Transactions
  • Associate Editor for ASME Transactions, Journal of Manufacturing Science and Engineering

His recognitions include IISE Fellow, NSF CAREER Award, the 2021 IEEE CASE Best Conference Paper Award, and the 2013 IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering Best Paper Award. He holds five patents related to Machine Learning for Additive Manufacturing.
